Alaris advised Everyman Media Group on the acquisition and financing of Screen Cinemas.
Screen Cinemas, operated seven cinemas across London and the South East. Given its iconic status, Screen attracted strong interest from other independent cinema operators, larger trade players, and a number of international investors. Everyman prevailed in a highly competitive sale process.
Everyman operated one luxury cinema in Hampstead with further sites in the pipeline, including a new venue in Hammersmith. Its board and major shareholders have an enviable retail and leisure pedigree. On completion of the transaction, they included Lloyd Dorfman, founder of Travelex; Adam and Sam Kaye founders of the ASK and Zizzi restaurant chains; The Lewis Trust Group.
